Dr. Lonergan’s foundational background and clinical training represent an extraordinary commitment to surgical excellence:

Undergraduate Education

Earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Molecular, and Cellular Biology from the University of New Hampshire.

Medical School

Earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.  

Residency Training

Completed a competitive five-year residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, training under leading figures in head and neck and facial plastic surgery.

Fellowship Training

Selected for a prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) fellowship with Dr. Edwin Williams and Dr. Keimun Slaughter in Latham, NY. Throughout her residency and fellowship, Dr. Lonergan had the privilege of training alongside true pioneers and mentors in the field of facial plastic surgery, refining advanced techniques in facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and complex reconstructive surgery.

  • Speaker & Presenter: Presented scientific research at major national symposia, including the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and the Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meetings.  
  • Recognized Research: Received the second-place scientific poster award at the national AAFPRS annual meeting, alongside grants from the New England Otolaryngological Society and Tufts University.

Personal Philosophy & Welcome Home

For Dr. Lonergan, providing care is about building genuine trust and understanding each patient's unique aesthetic and reconstructive goals. After completing rigorous clinical training across the country—from California to New York—Dr. Lonergan is thrilled to return home to Boston and New England to serve her community.

Outside the Office

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Lonergan enjoys baking, staying active through boxing, and traveling with her husband, Tim. She also loves spending quality time at home with her two beloved dogs, Winnie and Seamus.
