Is there any downtime after dermal fillers?

Fillers do not typically require any recovery. Patients can resume their normal schedules directly after their sessions. In fact, many patients come in over their lunch breaks to receive their filler injections. Mild swelling, redness, or tenderness at the injection sites are common side effects but they are not usually severe enough to warrant any downtime.
