Targeted Liposuction with Fat Transfer to Hip Dips: 9-Month Results
This patient visited Boston Center for Plastic Surgery in her early 30s seeking to sculpt her midsection and restore smooth contours after pregnancy. As part of a customized full-body restoration, Dr. Vickram Tandon utilized high-definition liposuction to harvest unwanted fat and strategically transfer it for enhanced body proportions.
Procedure Highlights:
Liposuction & Hip Dip Augmentation: Targeted liposuction was performed around the abdomen and waistline to eliminate stubborn fat deposits resistant to diet and exercise. Rather than discarding the tissue, Dr. Tandon processed and transferred the purified fat into her hip dips—smoothing the transition from waist to hip and creating an hourglass silhouette.
Abdominal Wall Reconstruction: To complement the liposuction, an abdominoplasty was performed to repair underlying muscle separation (diastasis recti) and remove lax skin, ensuring a firm, flat foundation.
Asymmetric Breast Augmentation: A subfacial, muscle-preserving breast augmentation was included using hidden-scar periareolar incisions (Natrelle 445cc right / 405cc left) to address preexisting asymmetry without disrupting the pectoral muscle.
At nine months post-op, all residual swelling has resolved, showcasing a fully settled, natural waistline and seamless hip transition.
